No. We charge for the work of producing a certified translation, not for the receiving authority's decision. Once a sworn translator has produced and certified the translation, the work is complete and the fee is non-refundable — including in the event that an authority later rejects the document. Reach out before paying if you're uncertain whether our scope matches your need.

You are. It's your responsibility to upload an accurate, complete, and legible source document — including all pages, stamps, and annotations. We translate exactly what you provide. If the original contains errors, omissions, or illegible sections, those will carry through to the translation. If a stamp or page is missing from your upload, we cannot reconstruct it from elsewhere.

Standard delivery is 48 hours. Express delivery is 24 hours (+€20). Same-day digital delivery is available for most documents within 6 hours of upload during business hours (+€40). The physical original follows by tracked post if you request it.

Certified means the translator has signed a statement of accuracy — accepted in most English-speaking countries. Sworn means the translator is registered with a national court and can use their court seal — required in most EU countries for legal proceedings. We offer both; we'll tell you which one you need.

You receive a certified PDF by default, which many authorities now accept. For €12, we ship a notarized physical copy by tracked DHL worldwide. Some authorities still require the hard copy — we recommend asking them which format they prefer.

All documents are encrypted at rest and in transit with AES-256. Only your assigned translator can view the original. Documents are permanently deleted 30 days after delivery. We never train AI on your data. We are fully GDPR compliant.
